We Want your Writing

While we may not get the viewership that say, Kayak Angler or Field and Stream get, we are also substantially more likely to publish your article. Better yet, our system is easier. Instead of having to talk to an editor, send in a sample, and have your article compete all to have it potentially not get published, we just look at your work and put it out there. No hassle. No deadlines. Just writing. 

We will take almost any article that can fall under the subject of the outdoors. That means fishing, kayaking, climbing, hiking, camping, mountain biking, sailing, running, backpacking, and the list goes on. 

This is determined on a case-by-case basis. On the whole, we provide a platform for people's voices; we do not pay for articles. Nonetheless, we are willing to evaluate outstanding members of the On The Fly commmunity for a spot on the staff.
